ENERGY AND NATURE CONSERVATION

In our modern society we are dependent on energy and we therefore need energy sources that can produce electricity. Nature's own energy sources such as sun, wind and water are the most environmentally friendly energy sources! But we should not produce energy at the expense of Mother Earth's beautiful nature by building dams in waterfalls and rivers or building large windmill parks in the middle of beautiful natural gems.

Complete reenable energi house

One of the goals at SherAnton Farm is to have energy independence. The diagram illustrates a fully self-sufficient home utilizing multiple renewable energy sources and sustainable technologies. The house is powered by solar panels, a wind turbine, and a biogas or hydro turbine, ensuring a continuous supply of electricity. A solar thermal collector heats water for household use, while a biomass stove provides additional heating. The home also integrates a ground source heat pump, improving energy efficiency by utilizing underground heat for temperature regulation. Water sustainability is maintained through rainwater recycling, a water filtration system, and a pump that draws water from a natural source. The biogas or hydrogen production system, contributes to energy storage, complementing the battery and inverter setup. Waste management is handled by a septic system and composting, reducing environmental impact. This setup exemplifies a nearly off-grid lifestyle, demonstrating how a combination of renewable technologies can achieve energy independence.

Vegetables Calendar

Picture shows a calendar for when to plant in the European climate some of the most common vegetables.

A LIFE IN HARMONI WITH THE ANIMALS

A life in harmony with nature and animals is meaningful and inspiring! To establish contact with wildlife, it is smart to start by creating feeding stations. The animals will then understand that you are a friendly person and will become your regular guests. Through meditation and mental communication, you will gradually be able to approach the animals and slowly but surely they will seek you out.

Simple Solar power Cabin

The picture illustrate a simple solar power cabin, smular to the power cabin we build at the farm. The only difference are that we build the cabin in timber from the farm forest.

Solar energy

At Farmen we will be self-sufficient and independent of external suppliers both when it comes to energy and the most necessary consumer goods.

When it comes to renewable energy, we have so far built a simple solar power plant similar to what we see in the picture. The power plant will be expanded with more solar panels and batteries.

Wind power

The next step on the Farm will be to build a wind power plant similar to the one in the picture. The power plant can be expanded with more wind turbines and battery storage.

The generator in the picture produces 5000 Watts and will only be used for heavier tools/machines or in an emergency.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Even as a little boy, Antony wondered where all the pollution from cars and factories ends up and how our planet "Mother Earth" could withstand this without suffering a side effect. If a human is locked in a small room while a car is emitting exhaust, he will die within minutes. Mother Earth is exposed to emissions from millions of cars, planes, ships and in addition all emissions from factories, industry and coal and oil-based power plants etc. People have long known that the ozone layer is thinning and CO2 is accumulating in the atmosphere, which leads to global warming and thus climate change all over the world! Antony has always understood that man's careless treatment of Mother Earth must sooner or later have consequences! The new climate knowledge is just a public confirmation of what Antony has already known for a long time!

Regardless of our religion or culture, most people agree that behind every building there must be a designer and builder. No human building can in any way compare to the universe and Mother Earth, where everything is set in perfect harmony and interaction with each other, which testifies to the existence of an intelligent and wonderful designer/creator who has set everything in motion and who still helps to influence and control its development. We can also agree that we humans must have been placed on this planet for a meaningful reason and that reason is certainly not to destroy this planet, as we humans are well on our way to doing. As humans and co-workers with our Creator, it is our duty to do everything in our power to take care of our Creator’s Mother Earth and protect her from destruction.

Here are some simple tips on environmental protection and what ordinary people can do to take better care of Mother Earth.

1: If you have a vehicle that runs on fossil fuels such as gasoline or diesel, replace it with a more environmentally friendly vehicle (if your finances allow it) or use public transportation.
2: Replace your phosphate-resistant soaps etc. with more environmentally friendly alternatives from, for example, Karlslund Retreat Farms and Forever Living Products.
3: Replace the plastic bag with a shopping net and buy fewer plastic bottles and products packaged in plastic. Make sure that plastic waste is sorted and recycled.
4: Use less paper towels and replace them with washable textile towels. Replace toilet paper with a hand shower, which is also more hygienic and helps prevent urinary tract infections and hemorrhoids.
5: Buy and eat less meat! Animal husbandry leads to deforestation to free up pasture land to keep and feed the animals. Humans are basically created to live on plant-based products such as grains, fruits and vegetables (Field Produce) which are also health-promoting and you cannot live in harmony with Mother Earth nature and animals if you contribute to the suffering and killing of our fellow creatures.
6: Electricity is here to stay and with all modern facilities the need is great! To reduce emissions from polluting power plants, say YES to renewable energy such as Solar energy - Wind power and Wave energy which are nature and the creator's natural energy sources!
